Edit / Redo (
)
Operating Systems: All
Window Types: All
Simulation Types: All
Summary
Redoes the most recently undone change to the frontmost simulation.
Description
When you select this command, the most recently undone change to the frontmost simulation will be redone. As you make changes to a simulation, AstroGrav automatically keeps a record of the changes in the correct order, and the Undo and Redo commands allows you to undo and redo as many of them as you want.
The changes that are undoable and redoable are as follows.
- Edit / Cut(
)that copies the current selection of objects in the active window to the clipboard and then deletes them from the simulation. - Edit / Paste(
)that replaces the current selection of objects in the active window with the selection on the clipboard. - Edit / Delete(
)that deletes the current selection of objects in the active window. - Edit / Edit Object...(
)that edits the currently selected object in the active window. - Edit / Add Object...(
)that adds a new object to the frontmost simulation. - Edit / Add Family...(
)that adds a new family of objects to the frontmost simulation. - Edit / Import Objects...(
)that imports comets and asteroids from the websites of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the IAU's Minor Planet Center. - Edit / Remove Objects(
)that removes the current selection of objects in the active window in such a way as to leave the orbits of other objects unchanged. - Edit / Split Object...(
)that splits into a rubble pile the currently selected object in the active window. - Edit / Merge Objects(
)that merges the current selection of objects in the active window. - Edit / Reverse Objects(
)that reverses the direction of the current selection of objects in the active window. - Edit / Date/Time...(
)that edits the current date/time of the frontmost simulation. - Evolve / Run Backward(
)that evolves the frontmost simulation backward one time step after another until it is stopped. - Evolve / Step Backward(
)that evolves the frontmost simulation backward one time step. - Evolve / Step Forward(
)that evolves the frontmost simulation forward one time step. - Evolve / Run Forward(
)that evolves the frontmost simulation forward one time step after another until it is stopped. - Evolve / Evolve To...(
)that evolves the frontmost simulation forward or backward to a specified date/time, or evolves to the next or previous event of a particular type. - Evolve / Settings...(
)that sets the evolver settings of the frontmost simulation. - Tools / Calculate Orbits...(
)that provides a choice of two different ways of calculating orbital elements in the frontmost simulation. - Tools / Reference Frame(
)that changes the reference frame that is used in the frontmost simulation. - Window / Units(
)that edits the units of the frontmost simulation. - Window / Notes(
)that edits the notes of the frontmost simulation.

- Edit / Undo(
)that undoes the latest change to the frontmost simulation.
