Object Windows
Object WindowsObject windows let you view a simulation by showing all the details of a single object, including its relationship with the other objects in the system.
You can open a new object window by using the Window / New Object command, or by using the Window / Duplicate command on an existing object window.
An object window contains the following three areas.
A main area showing all of the object's data elements arranged as follows.
A tree showing the object's family at the top right.
A tree showing what the object is orbiting at the bottom right.
You can adjust the relative sizes of these three areas by using the sliders positioned between them.
If you want to select an object that is visible in the 'Family' tree or in the 'Orbiting' tree, Alt+Double-Click on the object's name. The details of this object will then replace the details of the current object.
You can also select a particular object using the Edit / Find command.
Trees have the following three types of tree nodes.
indicates an object that has a family that is currently hidden, and if you click on the corresponding 'expand' tool, the object's family will become visible.
indicates an object that has a family that is currently visible, and if you click on the corresponding 'collapse' tool, the object's family will become hidden.
indicates an object that has no family, and that has no corresponding 'expand' or 'collapse' tool.
